I believe that this is the article referenced by Don Capisco.
I was this week mailed the entire discourse given by then Cardinal Ratzinger to the eighth international congress on sacred music, "Liturgy and Sacred Music," which was published in English in Sacred Music, as Don Capisco notes in his bibliography. This is the speech summarized in the second part of the article referenced above. Truly excellent, of course, and, except for the repetitions made necessary by oral delivery, well worth reading every word.
We are awaiting the complete text in Spanish to be posted to this Web log. The discourse is readily available on the Internet in Italian: "Liturgia e Musica Sacra."
