Spinal Tap and Gregorian Chant

According to the Scotsman, Tony Hendra, editor of National Lampoon and star of "This is Spinal Tap," credits Gregorian chant, which he heard first in 1956, for inspiring in him the possibility of faith and causing him to never lose interest in Catholicism. Hendra's book Father Joe: The Man Who Save My Soul (Random House, 2004) has been on the bestseller list for many months. To those who say that Hendra was and still is a very unlikeable and awful person, we might provided a C.S. Lewis-style answer: think how much worse he might be had he never heard Gregorian chant!
